What happens in a review?
Open a card, recall its meaning, reveal the translation, and rate how it went with Again, Good, or Easy. You can focus on cards that are due, or start another short round. The app currently shows up to five cards in one round; that is a session size, not a daily learning target.
How are due dates chosen?
Scenelet uses FSRS-based spaced scheduling to choose the next review time from your review history and rating. The scheduler determines when a card is due; it does not guarantee that a phrase has been learned or set a universal five-card rule.
Why keep the original scene?
The phrase and translation stay connected to the place you encountered them. A screenshot of a subtitle, a menu, or a sign can help you remember why those words mattered to you. See how to make a card from a screenshot.
