1. Capture the text you actually met
Take a photo of a sign, menu, slide, or other printed text, or import a screenshot. For a phrase from a film or video, capture a screenshot first: Scenelet does not import or transcribe video directly.
2. Check before saving
Text recognition can misread unusual fonts, reflections, or small letters. Review and edit the recognized phrase. Check the translation too, especially for idioms or words whose meaning depends on the scene. The source and translation remain editable later.
3. Keep the context, then revisit it
Save the phrase as a personal card. When you review it, the card can show the original image alongside the phrase and translation, helping you remember where you found it. See how spaced review works.
